see, now if this was late August when we have the annual HOA BBQ, I would tell you to swing by and we'll help light that load, although, with 300 homes, about 620 adults of legal drinking age, I'm thinking you might have to go back to Coors and get a reload after you leave.

Nashville was cool. Talked to BW9 the whole way through. Adverse driving conditions??????????? You betcha!:biggrin_2559:

Memphis was lovely as well. At 1-3mph I got to see so much of what I'd never seen. The next time through, if I get up to real highway speeds (Shut up Redd:biggrin_25525:), I'll know I ain't missin' SQUAT!!

Gurdon AR. Southfork TS. Nik, this had better be good. I'm way over dressed in my jeans and T-shirt and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts I'm not going to be offered a wine list before dinner. I don't know what goes with "grits and greens" anyway!

Next stop, Exit 2, Texarkana. Mo' food!!!!!!

Update: The Southfork is a keeper fer shur! Had meat loaf, sliced tomatoes, fried squash, kick-### cornbread, apple cobbler, cottage cheese. The servers were awesome. Let an oldie flirt unmercifully with them. Not a throw-away in that bunch. Only bad thing was when I was paying my tab my server's grand daughter came in toting boxes of GS cookies. I don't eat GS cookies much any more but I'll be ###### if I didn't leave with 5 boxes.

One amusing thing...BOLOGNA was one of the entrees. Yep, right up there on the menu with the chicken breast, meat loaf and country-fried steak. I asked my server if that spoke really highly of the bologna or kinda poorly of the other stuff.:biggrin_2559:
