Cheyenne WY at the PFJ.
Had the tread of one of my trailer tires come off tonight. Noone was around and it bent the arm that retracts the tandems. I didn't feel the side of the road in the middle of nowhere CO was a safe place, especially since the on/off ramps had posts right at the shoulder so I could hardly pull off anyway. I went up the road to the first truck stop exit and thats where I am now. The tire is still properly inflated though which is weird.

 

Patterson (I think), LA...waiting to see if my dispatch info indicating a 9AM delivery this morning in Morgan City is right, or the date on the BOLs (3/2) is correct.

 

Just FYI... If a tire is damaged like that and still looks like it has air in it, keep your distance. That's what tire guys get paid the big bucks for--kamikaze tire changing.

 

Sounds like another recap came apart. Got a gun? Kill it before it gets recapped again.

Mira Loma, CA about a block from my delivery. Couple hours early and this one is strict on delivery times.

 

..exactly what the mechanic said. Wasn't flat. Didn't have a bolt or anything in it. The tread on the recap just...came off.

 

Nashville at the "new" TA for a break and something to eat... they did a good job, its really nice!

 

I am hangin out in New Ulm,Mn...-I think either the snow is melting,or it is the remains of what is left of the maniac snowmen which came to life a couple nights ago,and my "comrades" and I put em down with blow torches... Uh,oh..,did I use the word "comrades?" Maybe the current administrations politics are rubbing off subconsciously? Or,is it the "chip" which is being implanted into all of us while sleeping? Coffee anyone?
