    Spent the night last night in some of the most breath-taking country I have seen yet.

    Salt River Canyon on US60 where the San Carlos and White Mountain Apache Reservations meet...between ShowLow and Globe, AZ. Watched Venus rise over the hill in front of me, then the sunrise following her by about a half hour.

    Spectacular. I will post pics later. Took lots.

    I was going from Duke Oklahoma to Durant Oklahoma to Laredo Texas.

    Truck has other plans.

    Sitting on the side of us 70 approximately 24 miles from Ardmore Oklahoma where I was going to get fuel. Truck threw a new one at me. Ran out showing I should have at least 10 gallons.

    How does one measure 10 gallons...dip the tank? That is waaaaayyy too close for comfort. I hate seeing anything close to an 1/8th...1/2 or more is great.
