All of you forgot one little detail that everyone wears who goes for any of these fashion statements: The greasy Peterbilt hat either with the bill so tightly cupped that the edges almost meet, or with no modification to the bill, but worn back on the head so the bill points upward at a 45-degree angle. It has to be a Pete hat. Anything else would eliminate the Biker Wannabe, the Ex~Yuppie and the Derelict from any semblance of being "cool."

Birmingham, AL at my shipper...in the far corner behind all the trailers with nothing but the crickets and night birds within earshot. No idling trucks, APUs, Carrier or any other reefer. Chew your teeth over that one, Dave.

Dinner tonight is a 12.5 oz can of chunk chicken, two 12 oz cans of V-8 and a Snicker bar.

My week in review:

DH Sacramento to Reno for load to Chino. Deliver Chino, load to Reno. Deliver Reno, load to Chino!

Now I am sitting in Fontana...Cherry and Santa Ana, perilously close to the Swift Fontana terminal...trying to figure out where this place called Corona is! I asked a couple of drivers (they didn't seem to understand English...but they understood CORONA)...they replied "Si senior, muchas gracias"...so I didn't understand the directions and am stuck using my Rand McNally 2007 laminated book.

Once I get to this place called Corona...nothing to do with beer I found out....I will get my load to Kent! Washington...BUMMER, I was hoping for Kent, Great Britain so I could take in some big time wedding...I hear the bride is a real HAWTIE!

 

You know why they do that? It makes it much easier to look in the mailbox to see if that check has come yet.

 

First chance I have this week to get on the interweb. Been gettin coils off all week, sometimes 2 or three a day.
Les caught me giving my pillow some head in Owensboro Monday in the middle of the day.
Called him up Tuesday night and asked him how to get into a steel mill that I havent been to in a few years and hes at that mill at the time I called and still could not tell me how to get in there. Told him to leave a trial of bread crumbs when he leaves and I could follow them in, he left the whole sack of bread at the guard shack. Thanks pal.
