If you are the kind of person who likes to shower daily , or if you do flatbed work and find yourself staying at the customers often , you can get 1 or as many as you can hold of the blue marine water jerry cans. Cut the top lid so that you can get an aquarium heater in it and run it full blast all day. then hook either a water pump to it or hang it up high and make a hose .

All the truck stops have app you put on phone and you can reserve a shower right from your truck or get on the waiting list if all the shower are being used.

Yeppers. I used to do that with TA in Morris, Il. I'd stop at the westbound rest area a few miles before the exit. Check the app, and if there was a line check in. Usually by the time I got parked only had to wait 10-15 minutes for a shower.

Not quite 16 hours, 13hrs on a bad day 5 days a week overtime after 40hours. I am also lazy load, 250miles, unload/load, 250miles, unload.

I did the OTR thing and had less miles for less pay. I showered every day. Luckily I was able to fuel 1000gallons my first month and each month after so I had free showers. It only sucked the first month where I had to pay for showers every other day.

If you don't have shower credits, you might ask a day cab driver for one of theirs. Chances are they are not using them. I give mine away. I hate to see a driver pay for a shower.

Not saying that the person's post you responded does that. But here's my take on your comment. I have seen other driver's washing their feet in the bathroom sink. I personally find that utterly disgusting. Offered them a free shower off my points card an they wouldn't accept it. Said they didn't have time for a shower. Left me shaking my head in absolute disgust.

I always have plenty on my pilot card. We run team so i give others a coupon off the kiosk whenever someone asks.
