    If I have to do that, you haven't been paying attention much in this section.

    @4mer trucker
    There's a guy laying 1x6 cedar on top of an existing cement step next door. Just laying it on the step and tapconning the wood down. He's been out there all day working on the railings o_O
    I'm not sure if he understands water gets in behind wood, then freezes

    It sounds like good Practice for him cause he'll be doing it again in a Couple of Years!

    Cedar isn't a "Ground Contact " Material, he may have got away with Pressure Treated for longer but I don't know about Ur Freezing / Thawing up North

    We finished up on barely and wheat. We were happy with the yields we got, considering how dry we were. I'd say around here the barley averaged 80-90 bushels /acre and wheat around 55-65 bushels/acre.

    We will be harvesting soybeans in about three weeks and corn and sunflowers in October sometime.

    Not only that, but the wood will suck moisture out of the concrete. End grain is like a sponge.

    I was telling another board member this exact thing earlier today. I, like you, don't normally sit and not say anything, especially now with everything going on. I have plenty to say but I think this is one of those "less is better" moments.
