Going to Virginia Beach on Monday so we gotta get up to Emporia, VA tomorrow

 

Well I’d say you got a deal. But I was wrong one time before. This could make twice but I don’t think so.

 

About #### ####ing time. Steady run that was 7-8 loads a week avg is open for business again. Broker gets A+ for not slashing the rate either

Decent brokers like that are hard to come by. Those types I'll do a favor for. Did one a few weeks ago, couldn't put a round together. Ran down to jersey empty, ran up to Rochester area and came back empty.

I wasn't too impressed with 2.30 a mile on all miles for the week, ~1500ish mi/. Insurance paid up for the year, trucks paid for and 800 month total for renting 2 new dry boxes. One guy saying "that's pretty good", well not really. Not in the great ole northeast lol.

 

We was on a roll before the beer virus. Just really getting into our groove from just starting in the spot market in late 2019.

 

Its funny, so many people have asked me how I'm so laid back and upbeat despite being laid off in a #### job market and getting flooded out of my home in the space of about 10 days. I guess that's what happens when you truely just stop giving a crap about anything lol.

Keeping busy helps. Did all the bearings and seals on a small tandem utility trailer last night. Finished it this morning. Gonna polish some aluminum tomorrow maybe.
