Hell I’ve been trying to break into the trucking industry since I applied for a grant to go to truck driving school back in 2019 and I wasn’t about to waste all that time and effort lol Pork doesn’t matter, I hate pork except a good bbq, sausage and holiday hams; would I substitute my beef roast for a pork one? Haha no

Keep on keepin' on, kiddo. You're getting this. I was lucky back in the 70's and mostly 80's, getting into and buying out, refuse (trash) route, in an old tri'axle dump truck. Nothing fancy, did the job.

Beef 'trumps' pork, everytime and all the time, yeppers~!

You've got a short to ground. I had a 98 GMC years ago that would do the same exact thing. I got lucky and had someone really good with wiring find and fix it.

My friends dad was the same way. Always had a little bottle of Listerine in the side pocket. He'd be off his rocker and still keep it between the lines. Wake up to him in the morning drinking white Russians and blaring some classical Bach and Beethoven.

Well, power for the ecm comes from the battery to the fuse block and then to the ecm. The biggest pain in the ### is finding where in the wiring loom it is, if that's what it is.

Start by checking the fuse block for any corrosion.
