Oh yea. Been that way for a while. When I was going to south of Nashville a lot I tried to leave early enough to get by before they opened but then they started to be open when I got there. Then some mornings I’d be later and they’d be closed. It’s hard to say when they are going to open. I rolled in there one morning and they were standing on each side of the scales with lights looking at brakes as you rolled on the scale. They wasn’t even looking at weight. He started waving for me to go so I did what he said and mashed on it.

I say that because mine is the 14th too, my dad’s was the 13th; I know how we can celebrate, a bunch of booze and 14 hookers! Maybe they’ll have a package deal hahaha

Spent the last 3 hours polishing my turd. Was kinda hoping if I scrubbed hard enough that blue oval would turn into a gold bowtie. I can always dream I guess.

I got 150 at weitsman scrap today for my 1990 blue oval Taurus :p Paid 300 for it about 3 or 4 years ago. Best 300 I ever spent (although I'll admit it's the ugliest POS I've ever met) comfy, all electronic controls and made the 1000mi trip to Ohio and back every 2 weeks working in the oilfield.

It was baby blue. Only 145k when it went to pasture.

My dad's a die hard for guy but I'm probably gonna go LS

For the miles on it the old girl still looks better than most vehicles half its age. I can count the scratches and dings on one hand.
