What are the specs on it and how much idle time?

There’s a fleet around here that has these and they get 7+ pretty easy with little to no idle time.

 

Did he tell you to take I-80?

 

From what I've seen, some guys have had success ordering a brand new epa13 ecm, dumping it, then uploading their own file.

Its risky, cause sometimes it just doesn't work and you end up with an ecm that you have to take a loss on.

 

Screwing around at the shop today and a fellow stopped by. He buys used motor oil $3.50 per gal. Walked him to my back parts room and showed him the five 55 gal. Drums of used oil and asked how much he wants ? He took it all !! Easiest $$$ I've made in a while !!..... said he would check back in six months.....I'll be here !

 

Now you'll be going around offering $2 a gallon, then reselling for $3.50.

Gross 85k, tall 22.5s, 2.80 rears, about 10% idle time if that. Only idles while setting in line to load or unload which usually is less than an hour each end. Depends on the number of loads on how much idle time it sees. The trailer is also taller than the cab so it catches some air too.

That's basically the plan. Late epa13 engines like 2016 and very early 2017 model trucks that have epa13s in them are physically identical to an epa17 engine. If the factory tuned epa13 ecm will start the truck then you can proceed with tuning it. We just haven't tried it yet. Some have said it works but I've not personally seen it or done it.


He did say the epa10 engines are really tunable and can make some pretty good hp numbers

 

Mines currently in and out of the shop getting data logs done because it's been regening every other day and the tech took a recording of it running down the road and paccar saw something they didn't like so they are getting alot more data to diagnose the issue.

 

I waved at all the buses on 14...21...and Yellowhead. But none of em was @Flint1 I guess. Gittin light in EDM.

I was on 14 and 21 yesterday with 2 of em. Our school board shut us down for the week.
I'm suprised, today was totally doable.
Only -36 with wind at go time. -40 is the cut off.
