I bet your feed bill comes right out the wazoo hahaha I’m assuming you don’t let 13000 chickens go outside and scratch around so that you don’t gotta feed them as much... but then again you’re likely smart and grow your own feed which is what I’d do... if you do, be sure to share the kind of grinder you use to make the feed! Haven’t chosen one of those specifically yet.
For now the animals that I purchase will be to merely keep me from going to the grocery store, small time, not primarily raising for profitEldiablo, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this. -
Really? Believe it or not I never watched a single episode... it’s like Justin Bieber and Canadians, that one person who’s from your “species” but is a complete freakin disaster, gets all the spotlight, gives you a bad rep and you just wanna drown them in the kitty pool...PoleCrusher, Gatordude, jamespmack and 7 others Thank this.

No Sir lol.... I was chaining a load of structural beams. It was over width and I had to put the snap binder up above the staggered beams. Only way to get what I needed was to be above the binder and shove down on the cheater pipe.... pipe slipped just before it snapped over and the handle caught me right across my left eyebrow! Took it clean to the bone and gapped open like a vintage change purse lol. That was during the days I was driving a 1984 AT64F Autocar.....Eldiablo, farmerjohn64, PoleCrusher and 8 others Thank this. -
When you finish reading this, you may change your egg eating habits.
Restaurants use eggs in two forms, processed and shell. Processed eggs come frozen in half gallon cartons, like milk. This is pre-scrambled, pasteurized and has a few additional things to stabilize the product. Shell eggs are just that, flats of eggs. Most of the chain/franchises use “ carton eggs” for omelettes and scrambled eggs. Typically the products are taken out of the freezer, put in the refrigerator to liquefy for use. The cook takes one of these cartons, dumps it into a pitcher, like the tea or water ones, drops a ladel into it and sets it next the grill. Your omelette or scrambled egg is made from that pitcher. When it gets low, just go get another carton and refill the pitcher. This cycle goes on most of the day. Scrambled eggs on a buffet, never eat these. They use carton eggs to make them, usually in the pan you see them in. Ever notice they never look dried out. Thats because they pour raw mix over them and stir it around. Or you see the pan go into the kitchen area and just a few minutes later out it comes, yep, nice moist eggs.
Shell eggs. Any eggs ordered other than omelette/scrambled is made from shell egg. At the start of the shift, in he cook goes and pulls 2 or 3 flats of eggs from the refrigerator and put them on the grill prep area, next to the egg pitcher, or on a shelf just above the cooktop. When the breakfast rush starts winding up, they go get 5 or 6 more flats. These eggs will then sit for several hours as they are being used.Rocks, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this. -

Bayou Boy, come to the Dark Side of freight. Be a refer man. You'll even get a raise to 40CPM.
Oh and right now I am getting upgraded to a 2020 T680 with just over 200K miles and it's a 12 speed thank God. There were two Pete's, No Freight Shakers. But two other guys grabbed the Pete's before I had a chance. I was talking to another driver, been here for over 20 years. He's been in the KW, FL, and the Pete. Says for bunk space that the Pete has the better choice. What I am looking at is something that will be comfortable for both me and my fiancé. When she comes out on the road with me. Because she'll be with me for 30+ days at a time. While the FL have the slightly bigger sleeper of the 3. The Pete has the bigger bunk. Plus the ladder folds up better.
I'm going to get on the list for the next open Pete. Give it a try and see what I think about it. Any thoughts from those here in the know?Eldiablo, jamespmack, Brettj3876 and 3 others Thank this.
