That’s about the only place I know to park at night unless there’s a lesser known truck stop with a big lot lol always a spot to park illegally at a rest area!

On a side note i like how Mack has their tach set up. Only goes to 2400 on the gauge. Why have a tach that goes to 3000-3500 when it's never gonna spin that much anyway. Each little mark on my tach is 50 rpms

I'm nervous about roadside parking. I'm rarely in that predicament tho. I'm currently in an Indian casino lol. Don't gamble but the rest area was shut down.

Cabelas has spots at lots of their stores. Like the one near the Ruan bobcat place you've probably been to.

 

Most shippers and receivers tell me to get fudged (like earlier) and there’s not a Native American Casino every 3 blocks down haha! Ikwym though

My hair was cut a few months back, not as long as before lol

 

An 8v71 while standard max rpm is 2100 can safely run up to 2800 continuously if tuned right.
I believe that 3000+ tachs are a legacy from that time although most from that time were cable driven.
