Yep, mud season has arrived, just as it does every Spring. You think it'll be alright, I dunno, well go ahead and try it , ok here it goes, aw crap, now we done it. Yep, gotta know your limitations...

 

If my memory's correct, Liddy wouldn't talk, so they gave him quite a bit of time in the joint to re-consider; he didn't. Didn't matter much though, tricky dicky resigned rather quickly.

Sap ran good yesterday, back to boiling, catch up later....

 

You could try replacing the coolant filter. If it's dirty you may not be getting full flow.

 

If the filter is dirty it should bypass shouldn't it? It's on a valve like the heater is so I'm assuming shutting it off or it being stopped up wouldn't affect much

That place was always hard to find a spot when I would stop.

 

I wouldn't be shutting it off, dirty coolant cost me a water pump a couple months ago. The filter is an inexpensive thing to check and eliminate as a potential problem.

Also, have you had the coolant itself tested? Someone may have dumped some water in instead of coolant, which could cause it to run hot as well.

 

Oh no I didn't mean to sound like I was going to shut it off.

I have not. I plan on flushing it and changing filters this weekend
