Hand rail before and done
Bout bed time for my insomniac ### but this is for tomorrow
And my dad re painted the drivers side door. The 1st time it was too thin and ate into the gel coat so he re did it while i was in Colorado. Sorry no pics til its complete
Got a stainless kick plate with mack etched in it that comes up past the top step that acts as a battery cover......if it decides to ship in a timely manner. And new shiny door handles. If the weather cooperates the passenger door is getting painted too before Arctic weather hits. Pretty much the only 2 spots that the paint peeled.
If i have even a 1/4 of the talent he does I'll make out just fine. Paint booth
that's means when its sunny out and not raining right
Lol
In 2 years he's really getting serious about buying ratted out old iron cheap and doing restos from the frame up and selling them for a fair dollar, not these 10s you see at the bar but the next morning they're a 4.....maybe 5 at best
This time on the right door I wanna follow step by step on what to do with the 2 part base/clear. I can't remember what it is exactly. I know its the type you can wet sand the imperfections out. That's art to me when at night time your the only truck in the lot that has that type of shine from all the clear coatsLast edited: Nov 2, 2021

And the frame is getting a really good blasting this spring. It's really not bad at all, cleaner than most 10yr old trucks, just around the 5th wheel it's starting to get there. Not bad by any means but might as well get it before it gets real hard to save. I touched both trucks up around the 5th wheel this summer with the wire brush and slapped some paint on to help the cause
She'll be going to antique shows and working the road still Lol.Last edited: Nov 2, 2021

Do you drive for P&S or am i thinking about a different person? I know they along with my dads old carrier run a lot of plastic pipe; national pipe and American pipe (think that one's called Atgore???)
I haven't done many skate loads bit i didn't mind pipe one bit. Quick load and even quicker kicking it off most times...........unless your going to a big job and there's already 10 trucks a head of you Lol. That's when paper comes in handy
The one in Kirkwood is 8 miles from our yardsinglescrewshaker, DeereRunner97, Gatordude and 7 others Thank this. -
I had facebook for a few years. But haven't since 2010. I can look at the market place no problem. Now alot of the time the sellers info is limited. So if I'm really interested i have to ask wife to go get the info. Or a friend.
Honestly I think it keeps me from buying junk I don't need.Last edited: Nov 2, 2021
