Woke up to no AC in the truck. Opened the hood… 2 broken fan belts and a broken condenser belt. I’m so mad at myself for not keeping spares. Short walk down the road to the loves and thankfully they had the belts I needed. Old ol detroit series 60 easy as pie.

 

Essentially accurate.

 

I’m no use to you, but there’s 2 sets of belts in the side box for the 60.

How often are you supposed to change them? I haven’t changed mine in a minute or so.

 

I only change them when I see cracks. Usually I get many years out of them. Over 400k miles. One probably broke and it took out the other two.

 

Then my 50k interval change was probably overkill.
