I don’t recall - but I know I was pretty tired at that point. All my driving days are 10-11 hrs, and it’s taking a toll.

Ha, no. Pretty sure his Dad made sure they were well out of range for damaging anything. This is just across the fence from their house, so pretty easy to go hunting.

Took our son in law out to some of my family’s farm. Seen some promising signs….

The radio spectrum has always been on a 11 year (about) cycle and is near the height of the "skip cycle". Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do. In the late 60's western Canada started a Radio club for truckers that ran on channel 1 west of Ontario. It was much quieter during that cycle but subsequent cycles not so much. The last few cycles the "grand idiots" of the radio waves have flooded channel 19 even more than any other.
Back in the 60's it was interesting to hear the restaurant specials announced in a truckstop in Tennessee while delivering fuel in northern Saskatchewan.

It is because the FCC has locked up the VHF frequencies to business use only. All "our" ladd channels are in use in the USA and licensed to different entities in differing locations. Even here we are restricted from using some channels in some areas where ladd channels have been issued to ambulance or businesses.

Think that’s a keeper. Oh, and the fish don’t look too bad either.

Give a “man” a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a “man” to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime! Great going on the teaching!!!
