Nothing wrong with some road kill. I use whole backstraps almost every year for Christmas or Thanksgiving. Good stuff

    Congrats!

Only two things ya can't make fun of when it comes to a man and size. His deer kills aren't one of those...

But let the season of hate begin. My son wanted to hunt with me Thursday, and not gettin thay opportunity much anymore, i jumped.

He shows up at my house with the 45 i gave him 5 years ago, that he's been wanting me to get a deer with. So i drop him off at a spot, and grab my Tikka and the XD and do some still hunting.

I had jumped some hogs out of a wallow near where I parked the boat, and near dark had made my way back there just in case they came back. I'm literally leaning against the cut bank right at the boat, hear something behind me, and see this little buck coming.

He took a 45 to the heart at 6 yards. I tried long arming him, but i just ain't good at it. That 45 HP didn't exit, leaving no blood trail. So we grid searched for about 90 minutes to find him. He only made it 80 yards, but the cover was crazy thick.

    Best hunt of the year

Memories are worth a hell of a lot more than any physical object, but replacing wood on a gun isn’t that big a deal imo, still the same gun, just better lookin’

The one on the left is the one the company gave me and the one on the right is my personal that I’m gonna bring lol I think if it can protect my egg from a tree/tree branch it can do the same for just about anything, better than that plastic junk on the left

I do. :) Keeps my rough hands slightly softer. :) The wife, our animals and I don't have need for a dish washer. On the other note, I'm not sure how 'good' it is, but Harbor Freight has this 18 lb tumbler for a reasonable price of $179.99:

Does anyone have an idea as to why my coolant is overheating? Just had a new water pump and thermostat installed. I checked my coolant level before leaving and it was good, got to the next town and my dash said coolant overheating. Let it cool down, opened the cap and dang near bones dry in there. I’m so frustrated right now and I hope I don’t lose my job. I’m just trying to limp home right now

Hell I hope it’s a leak lol I’m glad I decided to turn back and not think I was just going crazy, I thought maybe if I put some more water/coolant in then it’d be fine, but man would I have been wrong

There’s no visible leaks, out here at my uncle’s place who I get to visit for a bit lol car was running with it full on coolant and it started boiling over and there’s no water in the oil.

The only thing wrong that I can find is that my coolant cap won’t get tight, you try to and it slips off the threads.
