Guess I'll grill up some burgers and then mask up and start putting insulation in the workshop. Getting cold out there and I'm not turning on the heat until I can at least keep it in.

I talk -email - with my old boss back in New Zealand. I sent him pictures of the coal fired plant and conveyer belt load - I cut and pasted part of his reply below.
Thoight it might get a giggle.
I’m surprised the local “Greens” were not out on the road protesting a coal fired power station – what a joke . Here they managed to get Huntly ( between Hamilton and Auckland) closed because it was coal fired – 300 lost jobs as a result and included the open cast coal mine just across SH1 by the river which supplied the station.
Last winter, which was really quite cold, the national grid was so short of power Huntly had to be restarted. No one has said at what cost but at least the lights came on and the power flowed ( they were very luck as almost all of the station staff were still living in Huntly on the dole !).
What has be revealed is that coal had to be purchased from Indonesia on an urgent supply basis so it appears it cost more than 14 times the normal cost per tonne, plus a ship had to be charted and about 200 truck trailer units worked day and night to deliver the ship load Auckland to Huntly – price unknown !!
I understand the station is still running and appears that will continue for some time. Coal continues to be imported !! God spare us from the Greens.exhausted379, tramm01, OldMainiac and 12 others Thank this. -
Couple months back, wife was driving home and said to me - “Must be some bad storms expected , I saw one of those storm chaser vehicles today “
The following week I spotted a Tesla cyber truck, exclaiming “Dammmmmmn that’s an ugly truck!” And sent her a picture.
Yup - same cyber truck she saw and thought it was a tornado chaser
