Thank you all for your comments and support.

The kids momma had gotten wind of this and from what I hear, gave him the come to Jesus conversation. Starting with he needed to find a new place to live and the truck can stay parked in the driveway (theirs, not mine.) Until he paid them the money owed. (No idea what for or how much.)
If he didn't get that taken care of pretty quickly she would sell it. (Title is under momma's LLC)

Rest assured we have a group of the fastest gossips in Texas.
It seems the kid went to my breakfast place down the road and started to bad mouth me to everyone in earshot. Jim, the owner, told him to take his sour grapes and get the h-ll out. The kid started whining how it wasn't fair. Jim told him to get out and grow up before coming back.

And yes, I go to church with them. I have a feeling "Forgiveness" will be this weeks sermon. Might be too soon for my taste.

From the description of this breakfast place, it sounds like you’re living where I wish I was.

    @Big Road Skateboard
My daughter-in-law mentioned that if the pictures I like so much were taken with a cell phone they probably wouldn't blow up very big. I was thinking something around 16x 20 or bigger. Will those photos increase to that size do you think? If not how, big will they get?

Water under the bridge now. Let it be.

It's a shame to even say it, as I know these folks are friends, but it seems dad may have been a little lacking in things his son should have aspired to be someday. Like, honorable

Maybe just you acting respectable makes this kid say, "Ya know, I was acting like a spoiled little ####, and ole TX2Day called me out. I deserved that"

It may be 10 years down the road before it happens, but still.

No need to fret over it anymore.

    Enjoy todays lesson!

Yes, it is a mix of Mayberry and that song, Try that in a small town. We take care of our own, but hold on when the gossips start!

Not sure, but my wife prints some off I've taken. They're 8x10 roughly. They turn out good at that size, but I'm not sure if they would larger. I'll ask her later.

Sorry for the glare on some of these

You are correct. No reason for me to get upset over someone's snot nosed kid.

Have 2 retired truckers loading in Pasco WA on Monday to unload in Shreveport on Thursday. They will then "help out" until hay time then be dedicated on that.

    Thank you all.

Nice pictures, my favourite is No. 2 The Road to the Mountains, but No. 5 comes close. As a wild swimmer that looks wild enough for me. ;-)

My two favorites as well, although I like the one with the pond more for the pine trees.

Sounds like the kids' momma has a better grasp on the situation than the kids' Dad does.

And if you had made it perfectly clear to both Dad and son what the expectations were, then I can't understand why they both wouldn't be anything but humble and apologetic.

I don't understand why a lot of younger folks fail to see an opportunity, especially when they're given a leg up.
