Just a big black Pete with a ______ in the seat.

    @singlescrewshaker - there’s a guy here with a rig like yours - I’ll take a picture tomorrow -

Seminole, OK - oddly enough they’re expanding the postage stamp size Loves - 6 tanks going in.

You older hands can help out here - was it a

“Twin stack black Mack with a shack on the back” or something? Those older hands on the radio used to be entertaining.

Funny how an increase above negative temperatures improves the mood for working.

Looking good bud. Catch up soon.

The Vevor is in, but required an exhaust upgrade. By the time that’s finished, I won’t need it till next year.

There's at least one, well almost identical twin to mine.

When I got her, I found some paperwork in a cabinet for a 1992 FLD112. (Mines 1995) Same tan, white, black paint codes
    But an L10, 12609 trans, DS402's, & 3.90's
Then bout a year ago I crossed paths with one on US218 near Floyd, IA pulling a Reliable orange & black box. No answer on CB..

They were purchased new in Omaha, NE. By Wheeler Transport, pulled liquid & pneumatic tanks. Wheeler was bought by Iowa Tank lines at some point. That's all I know..

Was dropping off two day cabs to a used dealer in Fremont, NE while back. Guy taking delivery got a kick out of seeing the ol gal. Claimed he seen em running around the area 30yrs ago when he was in high school.. lol

Pat has a similar story - it’s a factory single screw Pete 2004 - lived its life in Salinas , CA and Yuma, AZ.

Hauled doubles - hay, and produce. Bought 2 of them for $15k total.

He started hotshot - in OK. 63 year old guy. I’ve been running around with him these last couple of loads.

    Coffin sleeper. Original factory setup.

    You talking this one

    20221026_092348.jpg

    Or this one?

Single screw originally come from southern CA..
Don't know what it was up too out west, but was definitely white in color originally..
Somewhere along the line she was cut down to 174" wheelbase, & them big mirrors put on doing mobile homes. I got er from Spring City, TN off a barrel racing girl using it to pull a 3 horse slant.

Stretch ol Buck back out to the original 210 wheelbase. Always kick myself not going long enough for a pusher..
