Wrench has been crawfishin for some time now, but finally today I guess figured it out and crawled forward.

Mom and dad will be chasing her around now forever.

I sit with her and just laugh at all the faces she makes. Good times

That would have been cool. They're one of those groups of that time that were collaborations or short lived that I would have loved to see then, I would have been 17. NZ got very few international acts at that time - I saw Metallica and Iron Maiden about that time, but it was a long drive and expense at that age to do so.

AC/DC played in Wellington - and announced that anyone with a ticket from that show could get in free at the Auckland concert a couple of days later. A mass exodus north ensued.

Things were a lot different pre-internet. NZ was always 10 years behind in US fashion, art and music. Also due to the remoteness, only established major groups would include us in a 'World Tour'.

The electrical gremlin is back. The fuse blew again, it calls for a 25 amp so I replaced it with a 30A and am using the signals sparingly.

I had picked up a cheap pack of China fuses to replace blown ones with, which led me to 'Bob the oil guy' page, with a tech that tested out cheap fuses and good fuses, to find that the cheap fuses carry way more current than they should before melting, which is concerning. His conclusion was that 'Little Fuse' brand and 'Buss' brand are within spec, and throw out your cheap ones.

So, it's possibly a bad batch of TRP turn switches, or a vibration occurring short in the left signal circuit that is causing it. Van Der Haags had very few options for used Peterbilt turn switches, and were selling TRP at $92 new ($150 at Peterbilt dealership), but had a 'Dorman' aftermarket (anybody familiar with this one?) -

    Or cheap fuses . . . .

Either way, I've got some digging to do.

Fort Wayne,IN for the night. Y'all be good.

Dorman's reputation lies somewhere between Yugo and Edsel.
