It’s an odd one.

 

Wonder if it’s under the dash to the fuse block. When changing out the old switch, moving those wire leads unshorted something, now it’s back.

Dorman isn’t bad they are what I run. Pete turn signal stat switches generally cause a no stop light condition. I have also seen the famous touch to get it o blink on the one side. I’ve seen one blow fuses in my time but it was actually the wire harness out of it where it goes through the panel rubbing in the column. I’d make a minor wager your issue is gonna be in the tail light wiring up close to the lights them selves. The side that’s giving trouble has just started to rub through. Also sheck both sides of all pig tail connections I have seen just a couple loose strands in there cause a little grief.

I’m not saying it’s not the signal stat just thinking it’s symptoms are very uncommon for it to be the signal stat
