8 hours later just barely gettin started

 

Hope you're getting your 10 hour reset in.

 

Just shy of 9 hours . They better get me some detention time or I'm start finding another place to work.. They have way to many of these customers that don't give a f about anybody time... I don't like working 20 hour days for free

 

I had to readjust my head doing the mods, being paid by the day. 4 of the 5 drivers had a mindset of working as a team.

2 of the 5 pilot cars had that mindset.

I lost respect very quickly for the people that didn’t want to ‘get stuff done’ .

The tank loads have detention and layover baked into the rate, but both Pat (64) and I get pretty itchy after 4-5 hours of watching employees jack around and waste our time.

Not because we’re not being compensated, or have anywhere else to go - simply because being constrained by other people’s ineptitude is aggravating.

Yeah - if they’re not going to pony up $3-400 for detention, I’d be looking elsewhere.

 

man you could put together a welded pattern billet and give it a twist pattern if you're up to hammering out a knife or whatever .

Loading feed early this morning, and this gentleman came peddling by on his service truck

 

I haven’t been that way for a spell, I’m not really sure. I’ll see what I can find out here in next couple hours….

 

Heading to the hospital shortly with Ms. Oldskool, another knee operation this morning. Hope this Dr. is a little better than the last one…
