Those were great times. I quit running in northern Canada in 2010. So from 2010-2012, we would all pile into the Hook (before Peelot bought them, the Hook was great and they sold beer). After 2012, everything seemingly went into the toilet.
“What happened in 2012, Six?”
ELOGS. My company went to elogs. 3 mondays in a row, I got called in for a random alcohol test. $80 cab ride from Baytown to Houston. Real random. Buddy of mine got cut from Sammons because he posted a photo of himself with a beer wearing company swag. -
The custom heel toe came in. Big ride this weekend. One of my guys, 30 yr old Marine’s 4 yr old daughter, had a brain tumor removed. She’s seems to be recovering well, but the 2wheel community wants to show love and support. I gotta make sure I can make it.

Most versatile little tractor ever made.
Radiator cap is not OEM. Original was Ford gray or chrome, don't remember.. But not black... -
A pic of that flatbed bob truck the other side of the dozer. Coulda took a two gallon can of fuel, battery, pliers, and jumpers and hauled the 8N out.
Might have needed pliers with a screwdriver end on one handle for the delicate work tho.....
Jokes aside. We had one, a grader blade, slip scraper, 2 bottom turning plow, and 5' bush hog. Had the 3 point rack floored made a like pickup. Greatest thing ever for a couple of bales of hay and a sack of feed to the back wet/muddy feeder.
Plow down where you wanted the ditch, come back throwing in it itself. Hook up he scraper and shuttle spoil over to a low place. A pass of two, put on the blade and angle widen the slot. Keep on till you had a W ditch 6' wide and 18 to 24' deep. Ditch still there north of West Point, MS, just grown up in brush now. -
I’ll post what I want. I am the companySons Hero, cke, IH Truck Guy and 18 others Thank this.

Sammons out of missoula? I think by the time i leased with them they had been bought by dsv but still operated as sammons... One of the old timers i ran with up there, let me know about some company snitches there at the yard. If they saw a beer can in ur truck or even if u just had a beer at the truckstop or watever they would tattle tale...
Funny enough me and the 2 other drivers i worked with and the broker who we got the loads from (1 of the drivers wife) all went out for steak dinners about once a month in missoula. Well just so happened one of them company snitches mustve been spying on us and tattle taled on all 3 of us drivers for drinking beer at a resturant on our day off.. took it right up to the head boss man in the office... Whom was well aware of the work we did and we were all close with and he just told us be careful when the tattle tales are around... Some people live some pathetic lives. I hardly ever drink at home and never anymore on the road. Seems like its not worth it.
