Trucking is the weirdest job in the world, one minute your pissed and screaming your head off, wondering why the hell you do it, and the next day everything falls together and it's the best job ever, perseverance through the crappy times is what brings the good days, you definitely have some coming

Idk about that I parked mine a year ago. Just needed to be home. Decided after we lost Doc first of March I was going trucking again. Turned loose of most of my mechanic work so I could work on my truck and get it ready. I haven’t touched it. I just got no want to. Idk if it’s fear, don’t want to anymore, what’s changed or what I’m gonna do. I gotta figure it out but I ain’t crazy bout doing that either. Might have one for sale soon

About the time I get to wondering what mine is worth and why I keep it I get some trucking to do and I don't think about it for a while.

I do get tired of being in the shop everyday too but I don't want to be gone all the time either.

Odd jobs around the ranch break things up, sometimes at just the right time.

Consider "hobby truckin'" 1 trip at a time out and back then into the shop for a bit. Your welfare wagon can be off and on enough and somewhat local.

+1 here for not really feeling it. Today makes the 5th day I've worked since Christmas. I didn't enjoy it one bit.

Trucks aren't anything but tools to me. I can work on mine, but it's not something I enjoy, it's just work. Definitely not hobby status. Driving out west though I do enjoy.

I gotta change some things. Mom had a stroke 10 days ago, so there's lots to figure out there on how we're gonna handle her care. That's my priority right now.

Told my rock and hay guys today that I wouldn't be able to run for them this year. Good to hear though they all said there'll be work waiting when I'm ready.

Not sure exactly how or what I'm gonna do at this point. It'll work out

Sorry to hear about your Mum. How bad was the stroke?
