Do I need to call an ambulance? You didn't have a stroke or somethin did ya? You sound like you actually thought about it for a minute.

You're kinda in the same spot I'm in. We both just now startin to get our rides in shape. Fresh motors and such. The hard work is done. Ain't no way I'd even consider tradin for a new truck.

Nothin against the new stuff, if ya like it. But I am a little more simple minded. I like having no payments, and when something breaks (like it's always gonna, new or old), it can be easily diagnosed without a computer, and many times fixed on the side of the road or truck stop parking lot.

I know it ain't for everybody, but I wouldn't have it any other way. And I know you're the same way.

Now if I hear any more crazy talk outta you, I'm drivin' to Arkansas and gonna ring your neck.

I love old iron, period. I won't even get in a new one anymore. At least when something goes wrong I can fix it myself or limp home!! Sittin in Marietta Oh. Going to walk across the street and get my Mexican grub and a few cold ones. ......got caught by the man today in Columbus, took me to where they run ya up on the pads. I tried to make a friendly wager on my weight, he wouldn't have none of it..... he was lucky I would of won! Giggled all the way back to my route with the man escorting me! I LIKE WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER !!

Yea I did think about it, be nice to be the only fat ####### to have farted inside with the windows all up. Then reality hit me. I would hate the piece of #### and not take care of it. I haven't liked anything new in a long time. What would haunt me is no yellow paint under the hood. Not that they are better than Cummins just I have had lots of good luck with em no need in changing now

Now you're talkin right. Oh and I hear ya on being the only driver and all that and I agree it'd be nice. Some of the new interiors are nice and it's all shiny and smells good. But you give it six months and it'll be dirty inside and out and it'll have that used truck look and feel, and then I'd start wondering what the heck I was thinkin when I traded.

I'm not even sure you can get a full gauge package anymore, can ya? It would drive me crazy to not see everything my engine and trans and fears were doing.

The inside is what I didn't like. I'm used to the old leather looking stuff, lol. My guage panel is real rosewood, and full of gauges that work. I don't know what happened to American Class? Not to mention a 389 would never have that look that I'm after. Or that old iron feel I happy with what I have no doubt
