@Bear135 correct me if I'm wrong but I was always told planes use an oil very similar to a/c system oil because it maintains its properties at extreme temperature ranges. I could be way off base though....will have to GOOGLE it.

Been an eventful day, unloaded first thing this morning. Told dispatch I'm 3 hours into a 10, I've got 10 4x4s and 12 straps nothing else with me so I cant chain or tarp anything because no bungies.

First load I get from the in office broker is a tarp load. Message back that I still dont have bungies so I cant tarp.

Second load gets booked (without checking with me) is for steel. Require coil racks. Once again, I have no chains or anything but the aforementioned dunnage and straps. Couldn't take it if I wanted to. He says get with the equipment guy about getting some coil racks. I say ok but I still dont have chains or binders. Never heard back, dispatch does her end of day check in, I tell her same thing and she says she will get ahold of them.

They wanted to pull the headache rack off my truck and put on this rental. No can do theres no where to put it, it's not setup for a rack they'd have to take stuff off to install the rack. And peterbilt was closed for almost 2 hours before the rental was even brought over so not like they'd have been there to swap it anyway.

 

Here ya go - just got done, gotta print permits, shower, smash dinner and hit the hay - then shag rear end tomorrow to Witch a teety.
