Seeing all those names on the Vietnam wall is sobering. I really liked the detail of all the soldiers in the Korean Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial was pretty awesome.

I've actually been in the White House and in the Oval Office. Went there on a police academy field trip, one of our instructors had connections. It was pretty neat to see in person.

 

We are in the shirlington section of Arlington va. Very yuppie. Lotta nice aspects of that tho. Just ordered a bacon n cheese scone..... going for dinner next.

Made it home. I-80 was a sheet of ice from Rawlins all the way to the house.

Got the yard plowed and went to the house. I mentioned that I was hungry and in minutes she was fixing everything needed for smothered burritos.

 

Makes one intensely dislike any snowflake.

 

Ya suppose if I had taken this into Wally world to get new tires they would have cleaned up all the corrosion between the hub and disc? Would they use anti seeze so next time you don't have to use a deadblow to get the wheel off?

 

Wait....... you can buy tires at Wally World?

 

The one with spandex walking down the aisles....not the one with the moose out front....
