Well she is throwing codes 1569 and 3251

I found a list that relates to the Cummins ISX...

3251 is DPF related. Pressure Sensor is acting up or it’s corrided or endless possibility...

1569 is telling me that I’m derated because of unfixed system problems.


Yeeehaw.

 

I used to be like that. Now, I don’t care. There was freight when I left and there will be freight when I return.

Which you will because it's obvious that you and your family are going on this trip to spend time together as a family unit. That's the smart way to go and the only way I would want to do it.

Yea my old man was cool as ice, but almost 50 years owner op does that. Wish I was more that way. My wife will tell me I getting worked up before I feel it.

 

I’m at about the 10 day mark now, and it feels like a month.

Then I look at the weather around the country, see the holiday traffic,

Then I think about what to do with that 150 lb monster tarp on the deck - from the last job - that’ll have to go somewhere . . .

Then I put another log on the fire.

 

Well wad heading to shop, and wife kindly reminded me that we still have a family christmas at her parents again, but with her mothers side. Took boots off and made a Irish coffee. Guess that is how the day is gonna go. Better get at it!

 

I get it. You want so bad for things to go right and be profitable. But, you can’t will things to work out. Just do the best you can and let the rest take care of itself. Or as Dad always said. “You can’t #### the freight “

 

If you get a chance to sign up for a ship tour. I suggest it. They take you into the galley, engine room and bridge. We also went through the crew quarters.

For me it was the best part of the whole trip. Well...... maybe after the food?

 

Any of you ever mess with a gm cluster? I want to add a trans temp gauge and have all the parts to do it, but can't figure out if I will need to reprogram it when I'm done. When I look on line there's just as many people that say yes as no. Just curious to hear from people I trust that might know.
