Indian Larry was good at mixing Oldskool and Custom, a lot more original than them dummies at occ or what ever they were. Some of his work was way out there, but I liked and respected his styling.1951 ford, BigBob410, Crusader66 and 13 others Thank this.

Easy walk for a young guy like you.

I'd like to share an @Dye Guardian story.
When I was asked to go and load that machine out of the quarry where Connor was hauling the large rocks for the dam project, before I committed I called him to see what access was gonna be like.
He gave me a very detailed explanation and advised me to come in the back way. Told me why and how.
I committed to the load, and called to tell him I was coming out, let's have coffee, supper, whatever.
He was done his part of that job and wasn't gonna be there and couldn't meet me.
I rolled out, turned off the highway and dropped my jeep where he told me to, and chained up ugly.
Don't know how many of you have ever been off road out in the back country truckin, but roads are radio communicated. Everyone is on the right channel and calls out there locations progressively to avoid meeting where you can't.
It was a couple hours into site, and every single truck out there called me by name. They all gave me advise as I progressed as to where climbs and descents were coming. They made sure I went in smooth. On the two big pulls, the graders staged themselves there incase I needed to be pulled.
On the way out I was ugly, the machine was way heavier than it was supposed to be, and at the big hill the grader told me to stop at the bottom and he'd come get me, cause they didn't think I could make it alone.
Both ways, I was treated like the king of the road.
Connor called and told them I was coming, and if I needed help, I was his friend and to do anything for me they would do for him. That was what the grader operator told me when we hooked up to drag me up the big hill.
That was the kind of respect the young man commanded of his peers.
I was beyond impressed.
I called him to thank him when I got out to civilization, and to him it was no big deal.
Respect.
Proud to call him a friend. -
It’s astonishing to meet a young Man of that caliber nowadays.beastr123, Al. Roper, blairandgretchen and 22 others Thank this.

I agree. OCC always seemed to be into worthless trailer queen junk that would never be ridden.

Thats awesome.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, Feedman and 18 others Thank this.

Question.
Parked the trailer last night. Horseshoe back into the yard at the corner. Often times I’ll lose traction backing in when I bridge the road on the final turn. I lock differentials and continue.
Parked tractor at the house - and noticed the tire on the rear outside drive axle was off the bead.
Ether and shop air got it back on.
Is it possible to twist the tire off the rim in a situation like this?
It doesn’t look like it occurred in the 400 miles since I last checked tires.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, Feedman and 16 others Thank this. -
You see I was thinking in n out because they wear those red tutu thingies but then you gotta go and insist it’s a homo reason (like always).
I’m beginning to wonder...BigBob410, OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR and 10 others Thank this. -
