Pulled in the drive at 7 am this morning. Stopped and got breakfast for everyone, lisa never told the kids i was coming home so i got mauled by them when they woke and saw me. Hooked up to the boat thinking we could all go play out in the harbor for a bit this afternoon but then my body decided that no, the only thing I'm doing today is taking a nap. Getting up at 2 am sucks at our age.

    That's reserved - I would have taken . . .

    "What a douche bag"

As an acceptable response to that.

Aaah -but getting mauled by the rug rats is worth it - and the nap might help if the boss decides to maul you later on :)

No doubt! As much as it sucks hugging them goodbye on my way out the door, getting tackled when i come home is pretty darn cool.

Speaking of the boss. I was recently informed that we have outgrown this cab and a half f150 and i have till the next school year to put a minivan in the driveway. Looks like this part time trucker is going to be a full time trucker for the next couple months. Yuck. So honda odyssey or toyota sienne or whatever its called?

Mine is a 70 or 72” sleeper. It’s about perfect for a week at a time or the occasional 2 or 3 week tour.

Most important to me is a good mattress and a fridge. I also have a microwave and small tv/dvd though.

Can’t imagine staying out for a week in a 48”. Even more so, I can’t imagine staying out for a month in anything less than a motor home!!!! 26FD5C70-0D08-472E-B497-BD440C6FDFFE.jpeg 4A5FB597-779B-4580-8524-35623D73A2A8.jpeg 126E6041-8746-45E1-BA59-0EEEFBBDA840.jpeg 7227B961-FBEA-426F-BF9C-512D9BF49989.jpeg

Mine is a 58" integrated midroof. At 6' plus boots I can almost stand up straight. And I have plenty of leg room. Now I love a small bunk W900 flat top. But I have driven them and I dont fit well between seat and sleeper wall well. I would have to put a pete ultra opening in for long term use. A Classic with separated bunk is not any better

Honda Odyssey is great If you sell and rebuild transmissions for a living. Maybe the newer ones are better idk
