What part of he’s not real impressed did you not understand??? He drives one. He doesn’t just own them. He crossed sams gap a few weeks back with a light load and was talking about how he thought it would do better.

Honestly, i think a man needs to put one on a dyno to get the real story on one if he thinks it's not running up to expectation. Also, I imagine theres a ton of different parameters that could be adjusted to make one run way better or way worse than advertised.

Horsepower ratings dont always mean everything on electronic engines.

What part of I know guys that think they’re doing pretty good don’t you understand? I didn’t say your boss or whoever was wrong in his “opinion” I said I’ve heard good things and I’ve heard people badmouth every single engine ever made. Just because he thought it should do better doesn’t make them a bad engine, remember what opinions are like. I’ll take the word of the people I actually talk to that I know personally over your boss.

I know drivers at All crane, Shelley company, Kokosing, and Ohio Cat with the x15 605 and not one complaint. Stupid sensor or two sure but they haven’t been reoccurring. I’ve had several sensors in my C15 go bad through the years.

I have a 450 X-15 in my truck. It could probably do better, but it’ll certainly outpull what I had. Linehaul runs in that Mack were tough. It got the job done, but it was grueling. Having about a hundred more horsepower and a good engine brake in a Peterbilt sure makes a difference in how you feel afterwards.
