Come 5/1 I'll be right back in a day cab.
My job came back around thru a..... ugh, God.... a joke too soon... I'm almost embarrassed because I don't wish this on anyone (okay, ALMOST anyone).... 'stroke' of luck... (guy on the dayside of the fleet had a stroke after my night slot had been erased because of a fire at our contractor).... So we're back to plan 1, but more like 1A.

Haven't worked since 4/5.... been doing moving & household #### since then.... Honestly, I work & get-worked harder at home than I do rolling around Boston. Lol. I'm ready for a break. A little 'get stuck in my own head & churn through random things' time.

Fostoria Rod Shop has several different options to meet any budget.

    1. Roller brush paint jobs, hand washed before.

    2. Krylon with your choice of matte or satin finish. Ready same day.

    3. Upscale paint job where windshield and front windows are taped off,

Prices are negotiable and discounts are offered if you can come get him out of jail same day.

No clue if any of you folks that frequent this thread travel into BC or not but it is as bad as he describes. The guy who got that thread shut down was 100% spot on and I feel he was being more than polite with his posts. Well, more polite than I'd have been. Put it this way: If it wasn't for "New Canadians" then Highway Thru Hell wouldn't have been a TV show.

I gotta clarify one small thing: I'm a company driver, for sure. I've got zero interest in running my own biz with all it's accessorial costs for marginal to non-existant gains.... So I run the #### out of it. I'd rather be home - doing my own stuff, not making someone elses money.

I don't hate the job. In fact, I like it very much. I work ALONE. That is why I got into trucking in the first place. I'm not anti-social, per se, but I function best when left to my own self direction. Give me a job, let me do it, and leave me alone in the meantime.

I've met 'the milkman'. He does the same job I do, but takes 5hrs longer to do it.

My ### is in the seat, then it's there to get the truck to Point-B. I don't lolligag..... I'm the guy that makes the rest of the fleet look slow.... And so it's on record: I'm not reckless. I'm aggressive. And still conscientious.
