    LOL!

    Sounds like my first auto body attempt on the 861 Ford tractor!

    Yet I still get compliments. It’s a 30 yard paint job!

    Replaced the luber finer lff1000 with the wix replacement. Has plenty of oil and after running it shows 20 to 30 pounds at idle iirc

    I have not replaced, yes and no on the issue, it starts and doesnt die, but it takes longer to start.

    Replaced the filter with I think a 33406 wix and yes it has a water drain. I'll try beads for now. Prolly go to those fancy balancer things if I swap to aluminum wheels later on.

    Sounds like you're running on the fuel pump only. Takes a little while to build enough pressure to get started but runs fine once the pressure is high enough.
    I still think it's prudent to get a new check valve assembly in there.
    What do the mechanic guys think ?
    @AModelCat ? Among others.

    I feel like that's the right direction. I believe James said there wasnt an electric one anywhere so it's likely all draining back down.

    Looks like it would just catch a ton of air and tear up tarps?

    What are we working with? I'm behind and clicking the little arrow in quoted posts doesn't take me to the original post. Actually @MACK E-6 that function hasn't worked for me in a few weeks now that I think about it. Site glitch?

    Extended crank can sometimes be a speed sensor issue on an electronic engine. If one of the speed sensors isn't reading, the engine needs a few extra revolutions in order to figure out where everything is.
