Any excuse to go flying is good enough for me.
We took a cab from the airport to the dealership. Wife went for a test drive alone because I didn't want to influence her decision. When she came back I jumped in it and went for a short spin...really nice to drive. I went straight down to the river, and drove on the loose big rocks to see how it dealt with some light offroad use...like a champion...then made it claw up a steep bank back to the road...i brought it back wet and muddy...wife just laughed at me and said "you can't resist can you" i replied "no. I am weak. I must offroad anything with awd to see how it does". Well paperwork is done, insurance office gal drove over and is in the office now getting my wife insurance and plates. No in BC we don't leave the dealer on a temporary permit, we have to get full insurance and plates. They are washing it for her right now since i really coated it in mud, so its clean for her 4 hour drive home in it, after she drops me off at the airport.

Alright. I'll check them and carrier bearing when it dries up around here.

Heck yeah man. Congrats on the new mommy missile. Down in these parts it's full insurance 30 day temp permit for tags. Title comes in the mail usually after a week then off to the dmv for plates.

    In other news.

Maybe we're all capable of it. Depends on the circumstances.

Think about some of the things we will say to other cars on the road when trying to get in the same lane... most people don't say the same things to strangers trying to get in an elevator together.

Be careful if you’re at the Petro.

Had a run in with a Bennett driver that got an attempted robbery by a couple guys. He was carrying a case of water back to his truck in broad daylight when 2 guys jumped him. Fortunately for him, another driver joined the fray and the robbers ran off.
The Bennett driver still had the cuts and bruises on his face.

Anyways, keep your eyes open and if you have to throw down, don’t be nice.
