    Depends. If the bear's hungry then you just made it easy for them. Most times I whistle or clap periodically. If you don't spook them they usually just wander off into the bush and leave you be. Or I just go back the way I came and take a different trail around.

    Aaah, not too much.

    I upset stwik, Six may have upset Bear, funerals, diabetes, truck wrecks, broken equipment, welding art, a few other things.

    I'm identifying as a trans capacity Hispanic-Asian of non descript sexual preferences, and am readily offended, so tread lightly.

    That's was just what I heard. Dont really have to be concerned in Northern Ohio about this. I just doubt I could lay there and wait for a bear to decide if I was on his diet. But good to know Sir.

    I used to head out into the bush for repair work sometimes. Company actually put us through a "Bear Awareness" course and issued us each a can of bear spray. It all became mandatory after a bear killed a woman right in a work camp not far from here a couple years ago.

    Oh I bet and believe you up there. Guess it's what some of us take for granted. But I never was given a Detroit awareness class.
