A friend who pulls flatbed says they are strict on their shipping appts. But makes him sit for a couple hours to get loaded. Hope its different on recieving side. Nothing around russellville for an over night. Maybe ill get a load out of nashville drop yard headed west. I'm supposed to be headed for home.

 

I must say the Fed Ex is nice,500 miles a day and the Fed Ex people treat you really nice on both ends

Picking up in Glasgow, KY. Driving into west memphis to drop sometime tonight. Ill probably sleep in the truck.amd head home.in the.morning. I live an hour from the terminal.

 

The DM that's covering my fleet called me at home today to confirm my RTW date/time for planning purposes. I told him to email the preplan details to me and he said that he would if he can get me a load, and he emphasised "IF". I don't know what he was implying but it sounded to me like my 6 year exemplary record with the company isn't enough to get me a load over all the 2 month wannabes. How much should the job be worth to me?

I don't know but I never got a preplan so I guess they'll just surprise me with something on Monday. At least the rest of my TO wont be ruined by knowing what awaits me.
