I shouldn't have to do that when we have people that are being paid a reasonable salary to schedule appointments and provide accurate date/times to the driver. What really cracks me up is when they tell you tp get them a name and number so they can verify it. The wouldn't need a number if the one they put on file had any accuracy to it.

 

Seems like the last few months this has been happening a lot lately. I went and picked up Legos in Texas last week. Nobody could find the right p/u number and I sat for a day and a half while they looked for it only to find out the appointment was a week before. Your right we shouldn't have to be out there doing their work as well as ours.

 

Now the weekend dispatch took me off of my preplan because they say I'm due for home time. Looks like the moron FM didnt update things when I got back to work Friday.

 

I guess you are not gonna make 3800 Mls this week. Lol

But you Reycer are right. The appointment times have been way off a lot recently and I have been complaining about them. But if you want to avoid the delays, I guess we need to call and verify.

 

That's ok though since I've already collected $690 this week in ebay sales and probaby another $600 in 4 more days. It'll be tough but I'll manage.

 

I actually spoke to someone today about the discrepancies we've been having with the load info. I spoke to a man named Russell Overla. This was the first time I had ever spoken to this guy but I guess he is over all of the operations managers now since Joe Palmer is gone. He contacted me from home since I was throwing such a huge tantrum over this. I'll also be getting compenstated for all my downt time this weekend. This all should result in desiplenary actions for the certain individuals that cant seem to schedule an appointment and get accurate times out to the drivers.
