I was in Lowell. Bt over to rockline in springdale. Headed to Lakeland, FL then Sarasota. Both sunday evening deliveries at Publix.

Now trying to figure out where to park after my 10pm appt. In Sarasota. Not going to be fun.

You can park on Jenkins Pl if there's any room left after you unload. You'll probably spend the night in the dock anyway.

I had 2 stops on my beer load and they unloaded the whole truck at the 1st stop and mixed everything up. I guess they don't even look at the BOL.

I'm always watching on multiple stop loads.. saves a lot of time reloading and sorting.

How many times do you see an LTL driver sitting in his truck as its unloaded? Many times he's the one unloading it. I'm not saying its never gonna happen, but I've never had that happen at a beer distributor.

Imagine that. A drop and hook and losing your trailer. What is the world coming to?

    J_FROG and Thomas0810 Thank this.

Ive been to a few beer distributors that wont let you and some that make you. But I was refering more to grocer warehouses. And to be honest im not standing on the dock and watching lumpers for 6hrs. Id probably be fired from cussing at then to hurry up. Still dont know why they cant unload me then sort the product.

You'll never be fired for cursing at a lumper. You hired the lumper to perform the work and have every right to question anything you feel necessary. You just might end up unloading the truck yourself though. I recently had a tire load I ended up unloading myself because I called the lumper a clown. USA paid me $25 per hr for the unloading so its all good.
