Lol thanks.. I got 3/31

 

Must be nice to know that far ahead. We get a letter about 2 weeks before. When you get to the courthouse it's straight to the courtroom for jury selection.

 

Our jury commisioner actually commented about that. Said only 3 districts in the country do it like he does. Call every one in and let them pick the week they want. He would call a week and everyone who wanted it got in line. When the week was filled he called another week and rinse/repeat until all weeks from Feb 17 thru mid april is full. He does this 7-8 times a year. He said its more fair to those selected. But I did only get a two week notice for the selection day. Maybe thats why he has been the Jury Commissioner here for so long. People like this way.

 

Oh my new DM took care of all my pay issues no questions asked. Between him and the new West Memphis Term mgr and the West Memphis ops mgr it got taken care of with no arguments.

 

That new term mngr is a pretty cool guy, but I'm still tryin to figure out all the sweater vests he wears. Lol

Delivered at 1:00 am in Pineville, LA and had a preplan to Laredo but they took it from me before I even got my empty call in but ended up getting a load to Dickinson, ND after a 4.5 hr wait. You can bet that I fill up my DEF before I go back into the Arctic freeze. Pouring the jugs in by hand is a royal pain in the rear-end. I guess nobody anticipated that stuff freezing in the winter.

Chillin at the house. For the weekend. Get to see Monday how the new DM is. And on top.of that heartland called this morning offering me $0.40 a mile regional home every weekend. Said they average 2300-2500 out of olive branch terminal. Yes DGstrong thats not quite 3500. Lol

 

Still have my notice in for the 30th but might withdraw and stay awhile longer. I didn't have another job lined up anyway. I was just quitting for the he** of it.
