Turns out that it was just peace talks. I guess they recognized defeat as it stared them in the eye. I have agreed to a ceasefire and will be continuing on to my final in Joliet, IL.

I dont doubt it but I've never gotten an Ace Hardware load going anywhere and the only loads I've ever gotten that were going to CO Springs are the Trane loads (Water Pumps) out of Laredo.

 

Delivered this morning then had to rescue a trailer as a driver broke down in Denver 20 miles away from the final. Get there and the load is placarded un2211 class 9. Ok. I get the bills and it wasn't a hazmat load. One of our lovely drivers decided to drive it all the way from Fort Smith to Denver with placards for a non hazmat load. Wow. Sometimes I wonder if these people just have a hole in their head or what the deal is.

 

I'm relaying a load off of a broken down driver as well. Morton, IL to Browns Summit, NC

 

I went from toledo to detroit for an MT trl so I can live load in Napoleon. Itll be tomorrow morning. Couldnt get up there and back down before 1600. Ugggg.... dropping at drop yrd in mechanicsburg tomorrow. Wonder if ill get a load nearby or if im waiting on sunday morning. Oh well

 

At least you can get a better view of the pretty snow capped mountains to the west. Lol, that's probably all they had for freight today anyway.

 

Why in the heck didn't they just send you to Clyde? Whirpool has a ton of our empties there.
