VB to Phoenix. Finally some warmer weather. Lol

 

Don't be fooled. It's still getting cold out at night and if your APU is not tuned for the high elevations you wont have any heat in NM and northern AZ.

 

Haven't had an APU in months. Got service in West Memphis and after that it won't run anymore. USA won't fix it just been using the bunk heater without the APU

 

Lol, It's certainly not warm here. Opps, I guess I cant go this way.

 

dang. Looks like I'm not going anywhere for a while anyways. Got here to VB, and the tractor broke down again. This is certainly getting old.

 

They'll probably hook you up with Peoplenet while you're there. They routed me there last week to have it installed and there was about 15 more trucks there waiting. Their in full production with the installs and everybody's getting one.

 

Well that explains why he told me there were 15 trucks ahead of me.

 

I had no idea that I was getting the Peoplenet installed but I knew something was up that day they deadheaded me nearly 400 miles to pickup that load out of southern CA going to Tulsa and low and behold, my very next load was a drop in VB. I called and asked why I was dropping in VB and my DM said that he didn't know why but he'd get me another load. Once I got there I was told to give the keys to the shop and attend the class. I think they're pretty serious about getting them installed so everyone should be expecting it in the near future.

 

They did ask for my spare key when I rolled in. Still haven't been told officially yet though.

Last night was pretty eventful. They got my truck done about 10 mins before midnight. Was walking around to get in, right in front of the shop doors, when the APU literally exploded. Talk about scaring the crap out of someone. So back into the shop it goes this morning.
