Your right that the Pilot would have been full but there's a service plaza just a couple of miles from AB on the westbound side of I90. The service plazas on I90 have parking 24/7. You would have been fine and could have made your delivery instead of getting stuck with the load for a day. If I was youvI would just make a foil hat to place over the Q/C.

I'd have been stuck overnight here either way so pick up was not relevant. My DM only relayed the info. The over zealous csr contacted the consignee and rescheduled because I would get there at the end of the delivery window tomorrow. What ever. Ill deal. Two real good weeks in row. I csn take it. Besides I'm running recap. Short on hours. And going home friday. Need the hours to get me there. Got new shiny things to put on my motorcycle then ride the rest of the time off.
I've picked up there many times and have yet to get in and out with a simple drop and hook. 2 hrs is my best time. No matter when I arrive the load is not ready. Shortest wait was 30 minutes. Longest 11 hours. Then there are the trailer issues such as tandems not sliding, bad or flat tires, top light out, etc.... I got bad juju at this bud plant lol. Got blizzarded (is that a word?) In once fighting tandems and trying to get weight right. After waiting 4hrs on a half pallet they had to take it back off so I could be legal. Get to final and apologize for leaving the beer. Only to be told he knew nothing about it and it wasn't on his order sheet. Uggggg.... needless to say I was not happy.

The wife person takes care of all that. I think she did an unlimited account for both of us. Hecky..... I never text more than a dozen times till I did this gig. The phone was for pizza and letting someone know I was gonna be late.
manchester NY. Headed to Dayton, OH. Asked for a stop in Vannerismdelphia for a looksee at my trailer pigtail. Someone here said that may be my electric problem. I believe it too. No answer yet. Lots and lots of beer these days. (burp)
No trailer projects today. WD40, hammer and large 4 letter vocabulary took care of it myself. -
Did any of you get a message about mandatory safety meetings on the new HOS laws? I didn't but apparently some drivers did.
-
I got something about it then later got a msg saying we could access it online.
Since your post reminded me about it I went ahead and got online and took care of it.
Just a 3.5 min video and a few questions. -

Mine locks up a lot.... sometimes a couple days at a time. I'll get a group of messages all at once that were sent the day before. They always ask for my hours that I sent days ago. Toss the phone and I'm on my own!
