I drovr down to the t/s in lexington va fir the night. While hauling tail down trying to beat my 14 my elog beeps. I got a load. I hit pkay so the dyslexic computer girl can read it to me. Picking up tonight at Grief (pkace I had left 30minutes prior) going to CT. Ummmm no. I call and the guy could not understand why I couldn't pick up tonight and wasn't going to CT. Ummm I don't have the hours to turn around and I want to actually have a shot if getting home on time next weekend. Now they want me to go get it and take it to baltimore drop yard where there are no empty trailers and they don't have a load picking up out of there on sunday. Uggggg I made sonebody mad is all I can think. But atleast I got 2600 miles so far this week.

They have loads out of CT going right through West Memphis. Thats probably why you were planned on the load in thd first place.

Doubtful. I don't trust the night crew. To many bad expieriences from the runs I get. I hate entering the weekend without a pre plan. Hardly ever works out well. I don't mind having to hustle and work hard. But I don't like getting the run around and not getting straight answers. Thats what it feels like sometimes. They asked if I'd pick up the run and take it to baltimore. I told them I could not tonight as I was out of hours. Could not get back to shipper. I had left. I only had an hour on my clock no preplan and no bathrooms at shipper to use. Closest place was 45 min away so I left. They were told multiple times today how much time I would have when I delivered. They waited until I was 30 minutes down the road to send the preplan. I was not turning around. I would not have made it back to shipper. Also everytime I go to new england area the weekend before home time I get home atleast two days or more late. So I'm sorry if I don't trust getting back even close to on time. I know it happens but I'm not a slave either. I can trust but not after it happening multiple times including getting home 6 days late last home time. Especially after being told twice in three days that if my hours run out just claim safe harbor rule and go park. I asked who pays the ticket if I get one. I was told I did. So ask me again why I don't trust them?

    Lol
And I'm sitting in lexington, va with insomnia... had to keep it relevant to the thread.

Ya gotta have a preplanned weekend or the show often turns into a rotten pumpkin. Weekenders seem to not afford much in accuracy or quality. Attorney anyone?
