Holiday Inn Express, Smyrna, TN. Preplanned Smyrna to Lancaster, PA. Doing a scrap load of beer from Cartersville, GA to La Vergne, TN. I had a good week going until they put these on me. Lancaster is due Monday. What the hell is that? I had 1900 miles until these popped up. I made more in training. I did ask to have delivery moved forward. No response yet.

My son and I are having breakfast in La Vergne. He is down buying a Pete at the dealer there. His business plan to buy several tractors and running his own outfit has accelerated forward. I give him this...... He has gonads. Gonna use Mercer out of Louisville to break loads, lease trailers and run ComData.

 

Nope! Ain't been there.

 

Pilot La Vergne TN..... I24 exit 64. Waiting on my time to load in Smyrna. Gonna be doing a lot of waiting the next three days. I'd get the wife to come to Nashville for a night if she wasn't hurt.

My good week turned to crap. I made more money in training. Money earned is not an issue unless I am living on my savings. And that is what I have been doing. Hustling and doing a good job has been defeated. Crappo!

Someone asked if I intend to work for my son....... Hecky, poop no. I'd quit one day and he'd fire me the next. Ain't goin' through all that. He has made offers where I'd make more than USA pays anyone. The answer is still no.
