That's what I thought. My last cascadia was great. One if the bigwigs there when I got my currentbtrick said something about it. He said it was a small batch of them. I guess fuel econ knows because they have not said anything to me. I've been in it since April. No one has asked me to come in to get ecm reflashed either. Maybe they are waiting until the trucks first service? I know it doent pull worth a crap on big hills with anything over 32, 000 lbs.

 

How are you averaging less than 5the percent idle time with no apu? Would love to know the secret,my 2013lady burns a gallon an hour sitting and my idle time is over 30 percent every day without an apu

 

Top company driver averaged 8.96 mpg for may, would like to get some tips from him

 

No secret to it. I have a 2013 but it has an APU.

 

They are probably on dedicated run hauling light stuff like Honda.

 

Speaking of idle time, I saw a truck at the 49er in Sacramento about a month ago with solar panels on top of it. I dont know how well that would work but it looked cool.

You on elog too. I ain't discussing my idle percentage lol. Its up there. I told them no apu means high idle times in the summer. I was ok thru april and most of may. Then came june....

Yea elogs are fun. Especially when I am on duty checking in and get back to the truck.and sit there 15-20 minutes before I realize I forgot to go off duty. Other than that....lol
