Not my EGR...... cracked center head. Gonna be assigned another truck tomorrow. No word of where it is or what. Repeated calls to breakdown and qc messages to fm lends to a busted engine.

(stopped rightmost lane on interstate after low oil pressure alarm)

"I don't wanna start this thing if it will blow up".

    "Go ahead. You're good"

    "Okay"

Par for the course with shippers like that.

I'm in Byhalia, MS waiting on 10pm so I can go back to thomas & betts to get loaded. Get back in truck today to find it trashed. My pkastic file cabinet broke, contents of obe drawer on floor. Paper work that was in passenger seat thrown on the dash. Contents of bunk cabinets fallen all over inside cabinets. And my dirty broom handle laid on my bunk (stays wedged between door and passenger seat). I ask shop about it and they said tge guys who drove truck to and from dealer must have done it. Ugggg... really? Thsts all I get? So I go back to truck to clean up the mess. Call in to dispatch and was told my fm had left for the day and to call her in yhe morning for a load. Ok fine. Cleaned up the loaded truck. Abour 4:30 I get a dispatch. Pick up mt trl and go get live loaded. Cool. Get to T&B and told I was supposed to be there at 1pm. My dispatch says 1-11. They do not have a second shift so come back at 10. Ugggh ok. So no early departure for me tomorrow. Perfect day...

Headed to Home Depot in Winchester, Va. 865 mile total paid.

Oh it wasn't my fuel pump going out. It was intake valves 3, 4, &6 bad out of adjustment. Supposidly fixed now.

Well I'm more surprised you didn't just drive it like that and sign off on your logs that it was ok ;)

I am done with USA....... going back to building Kenworth and Peterbuilt brake systems. Front line management here is largely terrible and out of their personal capacity. If I am going to sit a large number of days each month I will do it at home rather than at a truck stop or truck dealer. It makes no sense.

Good luck to you all and be safe.
