Peru, il. Already way ahead of the game, and still on a recap, so just taking it easy.

At the TA in Ontario CA.
Yesterday was a first for me, went over Vail Pass twice within a few hours
This morning a truck rolled between the Loves North Las Vegas and Las Vegas, all traffic had to leave the I-15 at the Loves and was detoured over the frontage road. Lost 45 minutes.
Then the usual backup before Primm and more congestion at Hesperia and Cajon Pass downhill.
Have only 30 minutes left on my 70, couldn't make it to the receiver, but running on recaps tomorrow. 3 drops in Vernon, will be fun

Not a reefer guy here, but one of my picks is in Santa Fe Springs on Radburn Ave. & I drive by the Unified Grocers place on Gannet & Valley View. Always lot of trucks parked in the street & wondered if there was anyone from here sitting waiting for a dock.

Wasted a full day last week due to a cancelled load (Layover time ;))
Just shy of 3700 miles in 8 days, lot of these miles were in Cali with traffic, usually I make 4200 in 70 hrs without problems.
Wasn't in Omaha since July 21st, no idea what's with the Oregon loads. Since my breakdown I was always heading back to Denver and got a pre loaded from Omaha. Time to visit Omaha on my next trip back and then home again.

Never delivered there with GO Express, was there once with a load form Canada when I lived up North.
We have various customers in the greater L.A. area, some are fast with unloading but others...
Will deliver three drops tomorrow, first is good but the others, think I will spend the whole day to get empty. But it's ok, need my hrs rolling back anyways.

Picked up in Perryville, MO yesterday and headed for Broken Arrow, OK. Finally had enough of traffic in Joplin, MO and stayed st the rest area just west of there. Brought it into Broken Arrow this morning and got a call from dispatch "soon as you're empty come back to Omaha." Ok. Nothing like a 500 mile bounce. I'm at Carrier now getting my APU looked at finally and we shall see what tomorrow brings.

I could turn in a few of the historical loadings from my reefer days, but who wants to hear it?

Well the fine red blooded Americans at Carrier got my APU sorted out. New alternator, new compressor, replaced a belt, replaced the control panel in the sleeper and ran new wires, and some other things I can't remember. Sounds like everything short of swapping out the whole thing. Working good now. After that I grabbed a .99$ heart attack from Hardee's and went around to the back of our plant to the park that it sits in front of, and sat on a bench watching the bullhaulers unload into our plant eating my burger. Circle of life I guess. Some of those guys have REALLY nice rigs. This morning was asked if Fort Worth is alright. Don't mind if I do! This load didn't come out of our plant but another meat packer in Omaha, and I dunno if they slaughtered in the trailer or what went on in there, but I had blood running out of everything it could get out of when I hooked up. 12 hours later it's still dripping off the back bumper. I'm sure I'll be in for a treat when I open the doors. Anyway, just sitting down here waiting across the street for the wee hours of the morning to get this kicked off. I haven't been to the DFW area in a long time. Not much has changed. Still a metric $&@# ton of construction. Travel agents said they gonna try to get me something goin to St. Louis outta here so I can get back and keep buttoning up things at home. Move to KC September 9th, and looking forward to it actually.

Unloading this morning near palm beach, FL. Reload later today up near auburndale for Minot, ND

Presently parked in a 2-4 inch deep pond in the parking lot, waiting for earlier truck to pull out, as downpours move in and out.

    :biggrin_25510:

Did I tell ya'll I hate Florida? I hope it's another several years before I'm back down this way again.
