    Lying to law enforcement about an accident like the Stevens driver tried to? Last I checked that’s interfering with a police investigation or obstruction of justice.

    Here in TX where I live and in MN where I used to live the police report is a courtesy done by the officer. The officer in MN where I was involved in a parking lot fender bender many years ago told me there would be no ticket or charges because no crime had been committed and he had no jurisdiction for an accident. Was told the same thing in TX and recently in Indiana.

    No, I was not involved in anything in those states as far as you know.
