I recommend PNC, they have branches all over the US. They reimburse ATM transactions, but I don't know if you need to have a certain amount in your account for this to be possible.

Whats funny about bank of america is that I had over $5000 in fraudulent charges on my account one day, then when I tried to dispute it (even sending them the police report that they made me get), they told me its my problem and they wont be giving the money back or cancelling the transactions.

After getting a new card in the mail it said right on the paper it was attached to “guaranteed fraud protection” and something about how they reimburse 100% of the losses.

I went to the bank and took all the money out in cash and closed the account the next day.

I use Wells Fargo, if they are crooks, they have yet to rob me. They bought up other banks that I have been with since 80s and I never bothered to change.

For card use on the road I use my credit card at Walmart, truck stops, WAWA etc. I get purchase points/air miles and if it happens to get skimmed/info stolen, the fraud protection kicks in as it's the banks money that is stolen. If it was a debit card the thieves would have direct access to my actual checking account.

I have banked with the big banks for 13 years as an owner operator. I started with a Chase Business Account and I kept my Wells Fargo personal account that I've had since the early 2002. Chase was fine but at the time, 2010-2012, I had some issue with large deposits to Chase and it taking several days or even a week or more for them to verify the check and make the deposit. I was assured by Chase that if I came back this year that those old issues had been resolved.

I left Chase in 2012 and moved my business account to Wells Fargo and it was nothing but a hassle for me because I was always having to carry my business legal folder to branches to make transactions and it was their way of verifying that it was me who was the account owner. Remember this is in the southern DFW area.

I moved my business account again in 2014 to Bank of America and I couldn't keep the fees low enough to my liking so I switched again to my local credit union in 2015 which was City Credit Union. What ended that relationship was the issue of finding sister branch Credit Unions to make deposits or other transactions and if one was not nearby it became a real hassle so I switched back to Bank of America in 2017.

With all that said I am in the market if switching again and I believe I am going to give PNC Bank a shot and just see how it goes.

    PNC BANK

I love how their checking account systems are set up and their rewards credit card is excellent. I also got an auto loan on my current vehicle with them at a good rate with good terms. I've been very happy with their service and in particular their fraud monitoring. Their ATMs, well let's just say I can't imagine how anyone could make a better ATM than they use.

I have a assortment of coffee cans buried in the back yard. Locations are written on the back of assorted tree bark in Zodiac approved cryptograms.

I never limit myself to one bank. In case something goes wrong, always have a second way to keep functioning with your money.
